This is a really easy plant-based sour cream recipe!
Vegan Sour Cream
Quick easy vegan sour cream!
Equipment
- 1 Immersion blender
- 1 Tall plastic cup (Typically, immersion blenders are sold with this cup)
Ingredients
- 1/2 block tofu firm
- 2-5 tbsp fresh water enough until you achieve desired texture
- 1 lime squeezed
- 1/2-1 tsp salt season to taste
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to the cup
- Blend (using immersion blender) until smooth, adjust water and salt to desired taste/texture.
Notes
- I find that an immersion blender works better than a food processor. The immersion blender yields a smoother texture, while the food processor yields a grainier texture.
