Vegan Sour Cream

Quick easy vegan sour cream!

Equipment

  • 1 Immersion blender
  • 1 Tall plastic cup (Typically, immersion blenders are sold with this cup)

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 block tofu firm
  • 2-5 tbsp fresh water enough until you achieve desired texture
  • 1 lime squeezed
  • 1/2-1 tsp salt season to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add all the ingredients to the cup
  • Blend (using immersion blender) until smooth, adjust water and salt to desired taste/texture.

Notes

  • I find that an immersion blender works better than a food processor. The immersion blender yields a smoother texture, while the food processor yields a grainier texture.
