Easy cheesy butter basil pasta

This recipe is very easy and customizable. You can substitute the cheese, using either vegan or traditional. You can use gluten free pasta or regular pasta. The possibilities are endless!
Easy cheesy butter basil pasta
This recipe was created when I was in a pinch. You can customize it to your dietary lifestyle.
Equipment
- 1 skillet
- 1 large pot to cook spaghetti
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
- 1 tsp minced garlic fresh or jarred
- 2 tbsp butter vegan butter, margarine
- 3 tsp basil paste
- 1 cup favorite mozzarella cheese I used my favorite vegan mozzarella cheese
- 8 0z boxed spaghetti that's about 1/2 of the pre-boxed spaghetti
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasonings
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 leaves fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook spaghetti according to directions and set aside.
- In a large skillet add olive oil and garlic. Cook garlic until fragrant about 1-2 minutes.
- Next, add butter and basil paste to skillet. Once butter is melted add pasta and coat well.
- Once the pasta is coated, add favorite mozzarella cheese and seasonings. Mix well.
- Finally garnish with fresh basil and more cheese!
