Easy cheesy butter basil pasta

Equipment

  • 1 skillet
  • 1 large pot to cook spaghetti

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp olive oil extra virgin
  • 1 tsp minced garlic fresh or jarred
  • 2 tbsp butter vegan butter, margarine
  • 3 tsp basil paste
  • 1 cup favorite mozzarella cheese I used my favorite vegan mozzarella cheese
  • 8 0z boxed spaghetti that's about 1/2 of the pre-boxed spaghetti
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasonings
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 4 leaves fresh basil for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook spaghetti according to directions and set aside.
  • In a large skillet add olive oil and garlic. Cook garlic until fragrant about 1-2 minutes.
  • Next, add butter and basil paste to skillet. Once butter is melted add pasta and coat well.
  • Once the pasta is coated, add favorite mozzarella cheese and seasonings. Mix well.
  • Finally garnish with fresh basil and more cheese!
